President of the Chocheles Consulting Group

June Chocheles is the President of the Chocheles Consulting Group providing business strategy and R&D planning, implementation and transition and commercialization support to an industrial and government client base.
She is currently the Foundation for Enterprise Development’s Federal R&D Technology Transition and Commercialization Manager and through engagements with the DoD and SBA she is assisting small businesses throughout the country who are developing innovative technologies, solutions and products with transitioning their innovations into the DoD, other federal and commercial markets.
She was previously the Chief Operating Officer of CONNECT and prior to that held a variety of positions during her 20+ year career at SAIC. As Vice President of Science and Technology Strategy she co-managed SAIC’s multi-million dollar Internal R&D portfolio of projects and contributed to the planning and execution of R&D and systems focused contract capture activities. She also had a leadership role in the company’s intellectual property protection and commercialization initiatives, was a member of the corporate Risk Committee, and was a member SAIC’s 21st Century Leadership program development team for high potential employees and also provided one-on-one mentoring to these employees.
June is the founder and chaired the Athena San Diego Pinnacle Century Club Scholarship Fund Campaign from 2003 until 2010 when she joined the Athena Foundation as a Board member in 2011 and assumed the role of President in 2012.  During her tenure, the Athena Scholarship Campaign and the Pinnacle event teams have collaborated to raise $50,000 dollars per year that has provided scholarships to over 70 young women pursuing studies in the STEM fields.
June is also the Chair of the Community Advisory Council for the San Diego Chapter of Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) that provides mentoring and networking opportunities within the San Diego business and government communities for graduate students in the STEM fields in San Diego.
