Athena Announces New Board of Directors for 2019

SAN DIEGO – January 8, 2019  Athena, California’s premier advocate for women working in the STEM economy, announces its appointment of six new board directors in addition to the slate of officers and directors for 2019-2020. 

“Following a thorough search for diverse candidates, we are joined by leaders with expertise in tech, life sciences, finance and entrepreneurism,” said Liz Gasser, Athena’s Board Chair. “This board aligns with both our mission and future growth plans as Athena continues to advance the cause of gender equality in STEM professions.”

New Directors include Accenture’s Revathi Subramanian, Managing Director and Global Data Scientist; Intuit’s Bridget Kimball, Vice President and Chief Architect; KPMG’s Jean Stadwiser, Partner; JLABS’ Dr. Kara Bortone, San Diego Head; RippleNami Inc.’s Jaye Connolly-LaBelle, Chairman and CEO; and Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Lola Adeyemo, Project Manager.
